GE Wabtec was looking for a precise diesel fuel measurement flow meter suitable for measuring fuel system health and fuel consumption.
The project required high accuracy and the capability for tight installations with no room for flow conditioning.
The scope included an easy to use pre-built package kit for maintenance yard superintendents to quickly test locomotives across the USA and Canada.
Solution
Macnaught’s MX06F Series of Industrial Diesel Fuel Flow Meters exceeded all specifications during validation testing and was selected as the prime supplier for this large multi hundred unit project.
